Edmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse has tied the knot with his longtime partner, Mikayla Marrelli. The couple exchanged vows in an elegant garden ceremony in August 2022, surrounded by family and friends.
Nurse, who has established himself as a key member of the Oilers' defense, was all smiles as he walked down the aisle towards Marrelli. The bride looked radiant in a stunning white gown, and the couple couldn't contain their joy as they said "I do."
The wedding was a star-studded affair, with several of Nurse's Oilers teammates in attendance. Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Evan Bouchard were among those who celebrated the happy couple's special day.
Nurse and Marrelli first met in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, where they both grew up. They got engaged in 2021, and their wedding was a culmination of their long-term love and commitment.
The couple is now expecting their second child, a baby boy. They welcomed their first son, Nolan, in 2021.
